Spanish Musicians

Spread the love

Spain has long been home to talented musicians with an exceptional talent. Their songs often excite listeners’ emotions through poetry or melodies that capture listener attention.

Teresa Berganza has become widely revered for her operatic mezzo-soprano voice and numerous accolades during her long career. She has performed for royalty as well as in some of the world’s biggest theaters.

Thalia

Thalia began her musical career at an early age in Mexico through Din Din. Later that year she took part in Juguemos a Cantar and won second place; thereafter she made headlines when cast as Teena in an adaptation of Grease – earning her international renown.

Thalia is an artist with strong socially conscious roots who supports various charitable organizations, such as March of Dimes and Casita Maria. Additionally, she has appeared in telenovelas.

Thalia first made headlines internationally with the 2008 release of Lunada, an album which became an international commercial success, charting at number one in several countries (but not America). Thalia appeared on television show El Show de Cristina to promote Lunada; her appearance increased Thalia’s popularity here and overseas. Since then she has released numerous more albums, most recently children’s music album Viva Kids Vol 1 which debuted in Mexico this year.

Mana

Mana, one of Latin America’s biggest rock groups, was famous for breaking taboo topics such as homosexuality and drugs in its songs at that time.

Guadalajara was home to a band formed at the tail end of the 1970’s composed of two guitarists and a singer, all teenagers at that point, who began making music together under their moniker?Sombrero Verde? (green hat).

Their debut hit song was Arde El Cielo (“Treacherous Butterfly”). This track told of girls seducing different men like butterflies fluttering between flower beds. Additionally, a popular bachata version was recorded.

Rock en Espanol giants Los Lobos are unrivaled as no other Latin rock act has sold as many records or filled as many arenas; indeed they’re the only band ever to perform seven times at The Forum! And they still continue touring and releasing albums today.

Raphael

Raphael is an enduring icon in Spanish music. His powerful voice and emotive performances have left a profound mark on Spanish culture as a whole – yet, despite being immensely popular, he has managed to maintain a relatively private personal life.

He combines Latin American peasant songs with classical and operatic styles in his signature sound, and boasts a huge vocal range and is known for adding personal touches by altering lyrics ad-libbed as part of performances to suit local conditions and create personalized songs for audiences of any size. A master of his genre, he can easily perform before even the largest audiences with ease.

He is an immense force of nature. With a divine presence that exudes all the light of God Himself, he can change Earth’s atmosphere with only his mere presence – easily surpassing any chief deities from pagan pantheons in strength! In fact, his strength may even cause earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes, though he takes great care not to overstretch Earth too far in its reach.
