Malu
Malu is one of the most successful artists in Spanish music, having released 11 studio albums and winning numerous national and international awards. Her powerful music has connected with listeners across cultures while providing them a sense of unity through sound.
Malu de Lucia, daughter of flamenco singer Pepe de Lucia and niece of guitarist Paco de Lucia, has earned widespread acclaim for her work in flamenco and pop music genres and has collaborated with numerous prominent artists.
Nena Daconte
Nena Daconte hails from Madrid and has since established herself as an accomplished singer/songwriter worldwide. Her music blends rock and pop influences with emotive vocals to produce memorable results.
Nena Daconte (after a character from Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s book) was formed in 2005 by Mai Meneses after participating in Operacion Triunfo season 2. She later went on to be sole songwriter for Nena Daconte; their debut album En que estrella estara went Gold in 2006.
Dani Fernandez
Dani Fernandez, better known by his stage name Auryn, rose to fame through singing lessons beginning at an early age. By age 14, he represented Spain at Junior Eurovision competition.
He has gone on to enjoy a successful solo career, winning numerous prestigious awards and selling platinum records. His contemporary pop music has garnered him an enormous fan base.
He has hosted on iHeartRadio and written for Geek & Sundry, New Form, and Skybound, appearing as well on UCB’s Tournament of Nerds.
Natalia Lacunza
Natalia Lacunza (born 10 January 1999 in Pamplona) seeks to redefine Pop music. She joins Amaia, Guitarricadelafuente and Ghouljaboy amongst others in taking a conscious and genuine approach towards composition and surpassing genre boundaries with their creative soundscapes.
She draws influence from Billie Eilish, James Bay, and Bon Iver but composes music that expresses personal emotion. She was considered for Spain in Eurovision competition but Miki Nunez won out.
Sabina
Sabina is an ancient name with deep historical ties that reach back to Italic tribes of Italy. Over the course of time and across cultures globally, this name has become highly esteemed.
Sabina’s soul urge of two compels her to seek harmony and connection through career paths such as counseling or diplomacy, or in interpersonal relationships.
She rose to international renown when her song Dagestan became Khabib Nurmagomedov’s walkout song during UFC events. Her music blends rock and folk for an eclectic yet soulful sound.
Vetusta Morla
Vetusta Morla are one of Spain’s premier alternative and truly independent rock bands. When they came to Germany for the first time in autumn 2014, they delighted audiences with powerful, exciting shows.
Award-winning sextet The Nightwatch began playing street festivals and clubs before self-releasing their debut long-player, 2008’s Un Dia en el Mundo. Their do-it-yourself attitude paid off; their distinctive blend of cinematic indie rock, neo-psych, and progressive pop earned them awards as well as sold out tours in both their home country and worldwide.
Tangana
Former member of Agorazein, El Madrileno marks a significant development in his career, moving away from trap and towards globalized pop-hop with influences of rhumba, funk and Brazilian music.
Tangana has won many prestigious prizes and awards for his work, garnering widespread media coverage for his controversial views on sexism and pessimistic views of representative democracy. Additionally, he embraced various musical trends while working with world-renowned artists.
Alvaro Soler
Alvaro Soler, an award-winning multilingual musician who can speak Catalan, Spanish, English and German has inspired audiences around the globe with his music. Since releasing Eterno Agosto in 2015 – which broke sales records across Europe – Alvaro Soler’s talent and musical ability have brought joyousness and success in equal measure.
His single El Mismo Sol soared to the top of charts in Italy and Spain before going triple platinum in Germany. Additionally, he conducted an energetic sold-out concert tour across Europe.
Leiva
Jose Miguel Conejo Torres, better known by his artistic name Leiva, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. From 2001 until 2010, Leiva co-led with Ruben Pozo the rock band Pereza which recorded six albums over that time period.
Leiva hails from a Madrid neighborhood near the airport. His passion for football and similarity to Brazilian player Leivinha earned him his nickname which would later become his stage name.
